Sortiri provides an AI-powered fitness and nutrition coaching service. For privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at privacy@sortiri.ai.

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:

• Account information: email address and authentication identifiers when you sign up or sign in (including via email OTP, Google, or Apple).
• Profile and goals: name or username, date of birth, gender, height, weight, activity level, fitness goals, dietary preferences, macro targets, timezone, and notification preferences.
• Fitness data: workouts, exercise logs, sets and reps, cardio sessions, and outdoor route data (including GPS polylines, distance, pace, and elevation).
• Nutrition data: meals, calories, macros, water intake, weigh-ins, and meal photos you attach to coach messages.
• Health context you provide: conditions, medications, allergies, and related notes you choose to share with your coach.
• Women's health data (optional): menstrual cycle tracking and pregnancy-related preferences if you enable those features.
• Coach interactions: messages, attachments, and AI-generated responses in your coaching threads.
• Subscription and billing: plan tier, subscription status, and billing events processed through Apple, Google, or Stripe (we do not store full payment card numbers).
• Device and usage data: app version, platform, device type, feature usage, and diagnostic events collected through analytics.
• Advertising data (Free plan and opted-in overage): advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS or AAID on Android) when you grant tracking permission, coarse location derived from IP, ad impressions and clicks, and device information used by our ad partners.
• Consent preferences: choices you make about AI data use, optional AI improvement feedback, ads, and push notifications.

We use information to:

• Provide, operate, and personalize the coaching Service.
• Generate workout, nutrition, and recovery guidance using AI.
• Track your progress, habits, and program adaptations.
• Display maps and outdoor workout routes.
• Process subscriptions and manage entitlements.
• Send push notifications you have enabled.
• Show sponsored content on the Free plan (and when you opt in at usage limits on paid plans).
• Measure product performance, debug issues, and improve the Service.
• Protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations.

To power your coach, we send relevant portions of your data to third-party AI and search providers. This may include your goals, meals, workouts, progress, and messages. See our AI Data Policy for details.

Some on-device features (where supported) may process limited data locally on your phone without sending it to our servers.

On the Free plan, Sortiri displays sponsored content through Google AdMob, including native ads after coach replies and interstitial ads before certain high-cost coach actions.

AdMob may receive:

• Advertising identifier (only if you grant App Tracking Transparency on iOS).
• Coarse location from IP address.
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks).
• Device data (model, OS, app version, language, timezone).

You can limit personalized ads through your device settings. Paid subscribers receive an ad-free included experience unless they choose sponsored content at a usage cap. AdMob is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

We share information with service providers that help us operate the Service, including:

• Clerk — authentication
• Convex — backend database and real-time sync
• PostHog — product analytics
• Google AdMob — advertising (Free / opted-in overage)
• Mapbox — maps and outdoor routing display
• Stripe — web subscription billing
• Cloudflare R2 — media storage (e.g., meal photos, attachments)
• AI and data providers — including model hosting (e.g., Crusoe/DeepSeek), web search (Exa), nutrition lookup (Perplexity, FatSecret), and meditation audio generation (Cartesia, ElevenLabs)
• Apple and Google — in-app purchases and platform services
• Expo — push notifications and app updates

We may also share information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell your personal information for money. Advertising partners may use data for personalized ads as described above.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business needs (e.g., billing records).

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
• Export a copy of your data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
• Opt out of personalized advertising via device settings (IDFA/AAID).
• Opt out of optional AI improvement feedback in app settings or during onboarding.

California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA. EEA, UK, and Swiss users may have rights under GDPR. We respond to all requests in accordance with applicable law.

Sortiri is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it. We configure ad content for a teen-appropriate rating and do not knowingly target children under 13 with advertising.

Sortiri is operated from Australia and the United States. Your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate, including the United States. We use appropriate safeguards where required by law for cross-border transfers.

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure authentication. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on sortiri.ai and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated through the app or by email where appropriate.
