AI Data Policy

Sortiri's coach is powered by large language models and related AI services. To personalize your experience, we send relevant portions of your data to third-party AI and search providers under agreements that prohibit those providers from using your data to train their general models.

Depending on your interactions, we may send AI providers:

• Your stated goals, preferences, and profile information.
• Meals, workouts, progress data, and habits.
• Messages you send to the coach and context from your coaching thread.
• Meal photos for vision-based nutrition analysis.
• Health context you have chosen to share (conditions, medications, allergies).
• Cycle or pregnancy-related preferences if you enable those features.
• Web search queries when you use features that search the internet.

• Incognito coach threads: When you use incognito mode, tool actions and certain coach interactions are not persisted on our servers for coaching history.
• Payment card numbers: Billing is handled by Apple, Google, or Stripe.
• Data you have not provided: We do not send AI providers data you have not entered or generated through the Service.

We use a combination of providers to deliver coaching features, including:

• Model hosting providers (e.g., Crusoe Cloud with models such as DeepSeek).
• Vision models for meal photo analysis (e.g., Gemma).
• Web search (Exa) for real-time information requests.
• Nutrition databases and lookup services (Perplexity, FatSecret).
• Text-to-speech and audio generation for meditations (Cartesia, ElevenLabs).

Each provider processes data according to their terms and our data processing agreements. We select providers that contractually restrict use of your data for model training.

On supported Apple devices, some optional insights may be generated using on-device models (Apple Foundation Models). This processing happens locally on your device and is not sent to Sortiri's servers or third-party AI providers.

During onboarding or in settings, you may opt in to help improve Sortiri by allowing us to use anonymized coaching interactions for product improvement. This is optional and controlled by your aiTrainingConsent preference. You can change this choice at any time by contacting privacy@sortiri.ai.

We do not use your identifiable data to train third-party foundation models.

Coach messages and AI responses are stored in your account so you can review history and so the coach can maintain context. When you delete your account, we delete this data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

• You must accept our AI data policy to use coaching features during onboarding.
• You can opt out of the optional improvement program.
• You can request deletion of your data by emailing privacy@sortiri.ai.
• You can limit what you share by not entering sensitive health information you prefer to keep private.
